MIAO (Mathematical Insights into Algorithms for Optimization) is a group of researchers from the departments of computer science at Lund and Copenhagen universities. MIAO researches the foundations of efficient computations and designs algorithms that work quickly in practice.
Scheduling is complicated, everyone who has sat down and tried to solve the puzzle probably knows that. Especially since we want to optimize efficiency, continuity and consideration for the preferences of staff and care recipients.
Within the collaboration, we will test algorithms developed by the MIAO group and give MIAO opportunities to further develop algorithms that the home care industry can benefit from based on realistic input data that we provide.
